Department Description

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team is responsible for analysis of financial reports, trends, risks and opportunities. We gathers, interprets, and evaluates financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts. FP&A department supports wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations functions across Europe, Africa and North America region. We have several small subteams in FP&A that’s why our team so unique – almost each position in our team has a different scope. You will have opportunity to understand how our company operates and improve your analytical skills.

Job Description

  • P&L controlling for Astro and LTE technologies within EMEA region;
  • Present to upper management sales and gross margin bridges, explaining variances between forecast and actual;
  • Perform and verify plan / forecast process for sales, costs and units;
  • Finance support for Tetra technology for all regions;
  • Preparing sales tie out in database used by Sales Operations team;
  • Support marketing and product teams by providing required reports with finance related details;
  • Preparing ad hoc various analysis:

Basic Requirements

  • Understanding of financial metrics, specifically: revenue, costs, and cash;
  • 2-3  years of demonstrable finance experience;
  • Excellent communication skills, able to interact with Finance and non-Finance staff at various levels;
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Self starter & Team player;
  • Fundamental knowledge in International accounting standards and US GAAP;
  • Excellent Excel skills;
  • Excellent English (spoken, written), candidate is able to hold project specific discussions with project team
