Gathers, interprets, and evaluates financial information, including past financial data and short- to long-term financial forecasts.  FP&A department supports wide range of Motorola Solutions businesses and operations functions across Europe, Africa and North America region.

Job Description

This role is a part of the System Integration Team located in the United States. Polish team is an accounting and operational support for the project analysts and controllers managing Motorola’s projects in North America. Finance analyst will have to work independently and take responsibility for quality and efficiency of the service delivery. Person on this position has to maintain a relationship with the business partners by regular accounting assistance, working in the variety of system environments. The process requires good analytical skills and Excel knowledge as well as excellent English which is an everyday tool.

Key responsibilities:

  • Performing project integration, set up and maintenance in Project Accounting system
  • Processing revenue and costs in PA system
  • Allocating time costs, various AP and business expenses (Webmoney) to projects in PA system
  • Monthly revenue/costs reporting per division/territory
  • Resolving non-ships – the portions of revenue that haven’t been booked from sub-ledger to GL successfully
  • Month end activities in PA system – closing/opening new accounting periods, reconciling sub-ledger to GL

Basic Requirements

Job Description

The Junior Receivable Specialist reports the Receivables Team Lead and is responsible for maximizing cash collections by enforcing payment terms and collecting past due monies.

The Junior Specialist will adhere to established policies, procedures, and approval authorities to ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements to minimize loss to Motorola. In addition, the Specialist will be responsible for maintaining working relationship with Motorola customers and recognizing risks associated with managed accounts in a proactive manner.

Specifically Junior Specialist:

  • Monitors activity of accounts portfolio and contacts customers regarding late payments.
  • Determines the appropriate method in which to collect payment against delinquent accounts and resolves customer disputes pertaining to billing and collection.
  • Makes recommendations regarding the use of 3rd party assistance to collect debts.
  • Assists credit analysts in setting credit limits. May also assist in the product return process.
  • Reviews delinquent accounts with upper management.
  • Provides regular collection forecast reports to finance.
  • Assists in write-offs, legal claims, and monitors customer bankruptcy proceedings.

Please note that this is 18 months contract.
